Review:

I knew that when i read the synopsis of this on Goodreads that i had to read it. Who wouldn't want to see Rosaline's side of the story from the greatest love story of the "Star-crossed lovers"?

Rosaline is head over heels for Rob, her best friend since kids. And they're trying to figure out what to do. But it all goes wrong when Juliet is back, Rose's cousin. Rose hasn't seen her for ten years. When Rob sees Juliet he tells Rose that it feels like fate. Maybe it is.

"She looks up at me, and there are new tears in her eyes, but they are not bitter or angry. They're filled with something else entirely. Something like love. And i think, for the first time in ten years, that we may be alike after all."

First of all, it struck me after a few chapters (acts) that Rose and i are similar. She forgives easily, keeps her feelings in and doesn't speak much unless she has to. I think Rose is the closest character to me that i have ever encountered. I forgave and felt sorry for Juliet when i got to know more about her. I did love that fact but, I also thought that Rose had to step up a bit. She said that she felt fine when Juliet took Rob from her, which obviously she was not fine with.

The plot is like what Romeo and Juliet is suppose to be. ("Because the greatest love story ever told might not be the right one, but we all now how it ends".) The only difference is that we see Rose's side of the story and that it's a modern version. Rebecca Serle stirs our feelings for Rosaline. She makes us think that Rose and Rob were supposed to be. But after a while we see that maybe Shakespeare did get it right. This is what made me cry. I knew that it will end like it is Romeo and Juliet. But i did feel happy for Rosaline's happy ending. I think, if i don't stop here i will spill it all and spoil it for you, so, i have to end this review.

To conclude, i think i will never see Romeo and Juliet ever again. I will always see Rosaline. I would definitley say check this out because this has a heart-throbbing romance that you will love!

Hi, guys! I'm starting the week with a review. I've been holding this review up because i don't know how to bring justice to it. It left me completely speechless when i was finished with it. Anyway, here it is...

I didn't know what to expect because there was a lot of positive reviews for this. When i first read the blurb i thought it was an ordinary thing where Mara comes back as herself before the death of her friends and her boyfriend with help from Noah. But, no, i was totally, totally wrong.

Mara doesn't know what happened. She just doesn't remember anything from the incident. Even though, she was there when they died. After the incident Mara and her family moves away. Her mom thinks it's better for her, but in reality it isn't. She keeps on seeing Rachel (her best friend), Claire (her "friend") and Jude (her boyfriend), who all died in the incident. Everything has changed since that incident. Then she meets Noah Shaw at her new school, the schools bad boy.

From the story line i didn't know what to expect of Noah and Mara's relationship. Noah was too normal for Mara. But then we learn that Noah has big secrets that's he's keeping as well. I couldn't stop flicking pages to know what was going to happen next. And just when i thought the mind-blowing attacks were done there was one more thing that blowed my mind even more.

And oh my, Noah Shaw! I was literally melting and giggling when it came to him! No one can resist a bad boy! And the cherry on top? He's got an accent! *Swoon* This was me (and i'm sure everyone else was as well):

Unfortunately, even though i loved The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (and Noah Shaw!) there is one thing that stands in the way of giving it a 5 star rating. The one thing that stood in the way was the slow paced until the middle of the book. At the start i was hooked but then it just became slow paced for me until the middle of the book. However, i still think that many people will love The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Michelle Hodkin keeps you in a knot because of the mystery and suspense. Even after reading The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer you will be screaming for more and pulling you hair out with rage.

Review:

Ashton is a fae. Faes channel (feed) off human and they can persuade humans. But when Claire arrives at the institute Ashton knows there's something wrong. She's different. She can give off heaps off energy and she can control the channeling. It's as if she knows. The big mystery of Claire gives the readers an adrenaline and keeps them on the edge of their seat. I couldn't put it down. I haven't had good old thrill, like this, since ages.

Claire, our main character, is adopted by two faes and they both channel off her. When she arrives at the institute she's quiet as a mouse but when we go through the book we see her character developing into a stronger one. We find out how Claire is used and how she goes around been channelled by many faes. It's filthy and wrong. *shiver* Along with Claire's character developing, we also see the relationship between Ashton and Claire developing. Ashton is not like other Faes. He doesn't like what he is. When Ashton meets Claire for the first time he knows that she's different from other humans. She doesn't swoon after him or follow him around like a lost puppy. Then, we see that Ashton is growing special feelings for her. The thing that ticked off was that when Aston and Claire had a romantic moment Claire would always run away and it was not explained. Despite this, Ashton and Claire were cute together.

Although, Fae Not was addicting and had great character and relationship development there was also a flaw. The ending was just like there. There was all this thrill and action, then bam! It's the end. I thought this hadn't ended yet, but after flicking through a few pages i finally got that it had finished. I was devastated, a little exaggeration but yes i was devastated. Nevertheless, i still enjoyed Fae Not and would recommend it, especially, to paranormal readers.

Hillary has just graduated and now she's going to Hawaii for vacation. When she lands in Hawaii her sister and her niece welcomes her. But when Hillary meets Moa, an ancient Hawaiian spirit she's twisted into an adventure. The portal is failing and Hillary needs to save it.

First of all, i love the sound of Hawaii! I have always wanted to go there. In Moa i loved learning more things about Hawaii. The description in Moa could make you see Hawaii as if it really was there in front of you.

The plot was simple and straight forward. It was something i got easily. In contrast, there was one thing that really confused me. The narrative kept on changing. One second it's in first person narrative and them third person narrative. It kept on changing randomly. Then after awhile i went with the flow. After a while i understood better. Although, i think that most people wouldn't like it.

To wrap up this review, Moa is a refreshing read from the other paranormal books. Even though it drowns your interest with the different narratives.

Wow. Just wow. Switched is a not my typical. There were many things i loved and didn't like. The story starts with Wendy as a little girl and how her mother tried to kill her saying how she wasn't her child. At this point i found myself saying "what?!" and then craving for more. As the story progresses we meet Finn. Finn tells Wendy that she's a Changeling and that she should return home, where she belongs. With Finn we also meet Vittra- the baddies. Wendy doesn't know what to do until she's desperate and wants to save her loved ones. She's coming home to Tyrelle.

Before i had read Switched i thought it was about Fae's but now i think that i am utterly stupid. We are talking about new things here guys! Amanda has hooked me with trolls i tell you! Trolls! Who would have ever guessed?

Two or three things i didn't really like were Finn, Wendy and the pace. One, Finn was really cold and didn't let his feelings out. He was like a statue. He didn't even tell Wendy the important things that she needed to do or attend to. Moreover, he didn't even say a proper good-bye to Wendy when he left! Although i didn't like him that much i still think that i would like to see more off him in the next book. Wendy was a great character to read but sometimes i just couldn't take her. She acted like a damsel in distress.

What i did like in this book was the plot and how it made me grab it when i had a chance to read. The plot of this book is what i call truly amazing. Trolls in YA book are very rare. Nobody talks about them except in the shadows. I think that Amanda did an excellent job with holding everything together and not get the reader get lost. Every time, i started to read in the middle of the book i knew what was going on and who was who. I think that this is the hardest thing that the author can acomplish. However, the pace of this book was slow then fast then slows again. So it is confusing, sometimes.

Another thing or i guess a character that i loved was Tove. Tove was a gentleman. He was kind and sweet. He was an ideal boy that you would love to meet in real life. He is psychic. He can't read minds but can move things around by his will without touching anything and sees peoples' emotions.

To conclude, Swiched is a must read for all people. You can't let it go and definiley unique. I ned to read the next book ASAP!

Review:

The story starts with the story of Adam and Eve but with a twist. Then the story really starts. Daphne's brother has fallen in love and gone to Earth. While saying farewell to her brother she meets Truman. He's dying but she wants him alive. She can't help but be pulled towards him. At the same time Obie and Truman live for Earth. After a while Daphne's mother tells that she can't see Obie anymore. All she could see was blood. When she sets for Earth she knows who she needs to go to. Truman. He was the last person to see Obie on Earth.

Firstly, i would like to say that Smoulder isn't really the original title. The original title is: The Space Between (The image on the right.) Smoulder is the Uk and Aus version of The Space Between.

I loved the demon world in this story. Hell in here is made of metal and fire. One thing i found really creepy was the metal teeth people had but it was still interesting.

In the opening i was hooked after the first sentence. This was something i had to read. Straight away i was already trying to finish this as if my life depended on it. I gobbled this up in like 2 days. If only i had not gone to sleep i would have never put this down. I was so hooked that even when i went out i took it with me.

One thing i can pinpoint was that the point really made this go downwards was the different POVs. There are two different POVs. One, Daphne and her one is in first person narrative and then the second POV is Truman's, which is in third person narrative. This was really annoying but i still loved to read Truman's POV.

In conclusion i would recommend this to paranormal readers the most. Smoulder is a heart throbbing mystery that will hook you with the many mysteries and heart wrenching romance.

Review:

I started reading this book because the summer weather that UK had, which is very, very rare. And i've got to say Amy and Roger's Epic detour was an epic summer read. You know i think i know what i want to do in summer and when i go to America. Go on a road trip like this one. 

For some reason i found out to be more closer to Amy than any character i have ever read. Amy's character started as a depressed girl but then started to change, gradually, to a strong character. Roger, on the other hand, is a different mater. Why didn't he just give up his ex-girlfriend (Hadley) and go out with Amy? I mean she's perfect for you! The relationship between Amy and Roger was really great, even though, it went really, really slow. In the end i think i wanted to cry like a baby. This, THIS is what you call a youg adult contemporary read!

One of my favourite person i really liked was Leonard. He lives his life for games but what i found really cute and nice was that he changed this: Quickly! You must save Princess Jenna! (Jenna is a girl he likes) to: Quickly! You must save Princess Amy! from a game he sticks to every minute of his life. I know right? It just got stuck in my head. Another thing i loved was the bits and bobs of the Detour in pictures. 

Amy and Roger's Epic Detour has a lot of emotional moments but it still had some humorous moments.

“Roger, he has a chain saw," I hissed. "I am not going to die in Kentucky!”

My God! I think i fell off my but by reading this part. It was that funny! Then we later find out that the guy with the chain saw was Hadley's brother.

The final judgement is that everyone should give this a go even if it's not your type of book.

Morgan is a great author. I'm looking forward to read Second Chance Summer and more of Morgan Matson works!

Pandora's Key has its ups and downs like every other books but significant because of the twisted Greek mythology is intriguing.

On her sixteenth birthday Evangeline is given the key necklace that has been passed down generations in her family-mother to daughter. But when Evangeline mother starts to get sick and  Evangeline is hallucinating she can't help but think that something is really wrong. Malledy is a Archivist with a disease (Huntington's disease) he wishes for a cure but there isn't hope. But there is a chance that Pandora's descendant will cure him-if he finds her.

Firstly, i would say that Pandora is a great book but it also had some negative points. One, the slow pace after the exciting start started to bore me, however, it did pick up so i did enjoy it. Secondly, what really annoyed me was Evangeline. Evangeline is a strong character but she didn't put much effort in actually believing on the Pandora. She only started to realise like nearly a quarter to the end and that really ticked me off.

On the other hand, i loved the Greek mythology twist in the story! For a start i love Greek mythology so it already had a positive point before i read it and then i found out that it was about the Pandora's Box (of course because of the title) it added another plus side to it. Then, another thing i loved about the Greek mythology twist was that Malledy was a Archivist. Archivists are people who gets mission to get things (and let me tell you they are not ordinary stuffs.) These are immortal things that we humans or any mortal can never lie their eyes on.

Therefore, i would give it a rating of 2.5. I would recommend this to readers who likes Greek mythology. I'm hoping to read The Key To Tartarus soon! The teaser was too much to handle!

To start i've got to say that i'm a sucker for beautiful cover-everyone is! Anyway, the cover is so beautiful! I was cover spoilt! Then i had the chance to read this and of course, i jumped in and ended up with this gorgeous book!

ReVamped is a book where vampires and humans coexist together in the near future. Dawn a seventeen year old vampire is finally allowed out of the Scarlet House grounds. She is going on a mission to train new guardian of Angel Creek.

Ada Adams shows the fun things about vampires, which i thought was amazing because we don't often see this part of the story. This is one of the reasons you really want to read this! There's things like Blood Cola and Blood Vodka.

I love Dawn's character. She's strong but at the same time you can still relate to her. I loved discovering things through her eyes.

Well, as you know every story has to have a boy to get involved with the girl but this time there's two. I would rather choose Sebastian over Ethan.

ReVamped's plot has a whole lot of twist and turns! From the start it makes you hooked-hell! I was already hooked from the prologue! All the way to the end i thought the plot was the best thing ever. And oh God! The ending was just perfect! Like a cheesy romantic movie! I couldn't but say 'aaaaawww!'

ReVamped did have some ups and downs for me so finally thinking so hard about it i'm giving it a 3 out of 4! God! It was so hard to chose! My brain was going mumbo jumbo! But finally after falling for the cheesy romantic ending it closed up my decision.

I can't wait to see what happens next in Angel Creek!

This book is love at first sight!

Kate who has just lost her parents gas moved to Pars to her grandparents with her sister, Georgia. There she meets Vincent, with his good looks and charming manner (what do you expect? It's France.) He seems to look like a normal guy, but he isn't. Vincent is a Revenant a fancy word for saying the undead-zombies, ghost whatever, but not vampires. But been undead has a payment to give. Vincent and his friends have to save people when they are in danger of ending their lives. And with every good guys you get the bad guys as well. The bad guys: Numa. They are just like Revenants but they are made out of cold murder and many bad things. Without knowing what is still out there Kate turns a blind eye to the negative points and still carries on walking towards danger.

As i said before : "This book is love at first sight!" So this is why everyone is making a fuss out of this series and i have to i agree with them. Die For Me just sucks you in with it's crazy world and characters.

It wasn't what i was expecting, it wasn't a good read and not a great fan, but there are good points about it.

Review:

Perry has a normal life, a perfect life. He's a student with really good grades and is on the top lists for undergraduate student at Columbia University, but when a exchange students arrives into Perry's life it turns into war. Gobi is not a European chick she's like the girl who sits in your class in the corner, talking to anyone and always has her nose in books. Prom, one of the most important date in high school and when Perry is with Gobi it looks good for a chance to go and get a chance with a gig in front of real people that night. But when Gobi changes their plan Perry discovers that Gobi isn't who she really is. With the lights on for the stage Perry discovers the hidden things of New York in a night.

Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick is a fun read with good action in it.

What i really loved about the book was the witty jokes that Joe made in the story. Most of the part of the story i was laughing full on and i liked that. Another thing that i really liked about the book was Joe's writing. It's just so simple but at the same time it's like you can see everything that the characters see.

The only drawback for me was that for some reason it let me down because i was hoping it to be something better. And, truth be told i actually left Au Revoir Crazy European Chick alone for a day or two.

And that's all folks. If you haven't read this book then do read it because i still think it's amazing! I can't wait to read the next book, Ciao For Now, Crazy European Chick.

On a little note i wanted to say that i really love the titles. Only by reading the titles i would have already picked this book and ready to settle in with this book.

Oh God, oh God, oh God. Where do i start? I can't even start to describe this book! By the way, all of this i mean it it in a good way. Virals is mind blowing. Kathy Reichs's writing was unbelievable!

"Mystery, fantasy, forensic science... and heart-stopping action" you can say that again!

Virals is about a girl called Tory Brenann. Her mother died 8 or 6 months ago and now she lives wither dad, "Kit", on the island off Charleston and surprisingly she is nephew of the famous forensic anthropologist, Temprance Brennan and as fascinated by bones as her aunt, Temprance Brennan, Tory is also fascinated by bones. With her skills at hand Tory and her group, Ben, Hi and Shelton are tangled in a big mystery with the lab on Loggerhead island where scientists all around the world come to.
