Review:

Fans of Cassandra after read book one and two of The Mortal Instruments are still in hunger for more and after reading City of Glass i don't feel disappointment neither.

Well...what can i say? Cassandra's work has blown my mind away...again!

Since i picked this book and started reading it i thought i was going to get bored but again i got pulled into the shadowhunter world. Who can resist? I have got to admit City of Glass tops off City of Bones and City of Ashes. Everything was perfect! Oh and how much answers we got in this book! Every time, i learnt something i was either taken by surprise or my breath would get cut short. I would be like this:

Puss in boots, ooooh cat.

In City Of Glass we unravel a lot of mystery and we meet one new character, Sebastian. Sebastian to pretend to be a cousin of the Lightwoods but then we discover he isn't. He's Clary's brother! *Gasp! Faint! And squeal!*

I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Jace and Clary were not siblings! Wahooo! I'm so happy!! *Jumps around and does the happy dance* The romance in this book was utterly romantic! Oh, how Jace admitted how he loves Clary heart warming! Not only are Clary and Jace the best couple but also Alec and Magnus! Oh, God! They are just so cute and adorable together! It's like they are made for each other!

However, the only drawback was that the end came too fast. I thought the whole ending was too rushed. After meeting THE angel it just went poof! : The End!

Even though of the rushed ending i still LOVED City of Glass! It's my favourite book in The Mortal Instruments! I'm so excited to read City of Fallen Angels! If Valentine is gone then what could happen?!

My rating:

Pleas, sir, can i have some more?

  2. City of Glass may have been the best of the three. It's hard to decide. I loved the first one too. I'm happy that there are more books in the series but I kind of think the series should have ended with this one.

  3. Great review! I have a feeling I'll get bored in this one so now I feel a bit better. I definitely like the Shadowhunter world :) I'll probably read it this summer, hopefully.

  4. I adore this series! And this book just made me happy at the end, I wanted so badly for Jace and Clary to be together and finally they could be without feeling so horribly guilty. WOO HOO:)
