Review:

Drop whatever you're reading now and pick this book up! Fracture is mind blowing and when Megan is describing everything i think she's right next to me, explaining everything in detail; bit by bit.
When i first saw the book cover and synopsis from Goodreads i thought i wouldn't like but looky, looky who's reading it now? Me! That's right me! And right now as i am typing this review i keep on hearing Delany saying: 'if you had one more day to live, what would you do?' And then 'do it.'

The first chapter just hooked me on. It was reality hitting my face. Of course, Delany didn't see God next to her, or angels all white, with halos or light at the end of the tunnel. She saw a doctor. The way Megan wrote from the start i knew i was going to like this book. Then when someone is about to die Delany knows.

Every time it starts with a headache then a itch and then it devours her body, next, her body starts to move on its own to the becoming dead. And that i've got to say is awesome; it makes sense. Delany skips death so why not become stuck to 'becoming dead' idea. Then for some reason Delany's mom gets depressed because Delany is not the person she was before the tragic accident. When most of the people died i thought it was sad and i loved how Megan use Troy to twist the plot. In the end there is a happy ending and i pretty much loved it. When i finished reading the last 2 pages i read it again and again and again. I just couldn't get enough of it!

The whole plot was about how Dealny got her life back and how she can get her life back before the tragic accident. The plot was also about Troy, the only person Delany can compare but maybe not.
Next, the relationship between Delany, Decker and Troy is unhealthy. Delany likes Decker but she sees Decker with another girl, Tara, she's such a slut. I just hate her! However, the thing that Delany doesn't know is that Decker also likes her but he doesn't know what to do, but when he confesses he loves Delany it all goes wrong. Then, after that Delany starts to hang out with Troy and they end up kissing each other! And i'm like 'hey, what about Decker? He just confessed loving you!' And then i ended up hating Megan because she made Troy and Delany kiss and then i ended up hating Delany because she likes Troy and don't let me start bragging about Troy! But it does end with the right people together.

Delany- Delany was a bit over top with death. For example at the end she goes crazy about saving Carson but, in the end, he dies. But i also think she dumb, aswell. This is because when Decker actually conffesed she just ran away because everyone has died and Troy is a murderer, but Decker could have helped her get through all the obstacles in front of her.

Decker- Love him to bits! I don't know why Delany refused him the first time he said 'i love you' to her.
Troy- In my opinion i thinks he's a little bit creepy for me. I also think he's cruel because he kills people, even though, they are about to die.

To sum this all up i think Fracture is one of a kind of book that you'll even kill for, to get your hands on it. Fracture is a must have for your own library. I have also become an official fan of Megan.

Pages: 311
Publisher: Graphia/Hugton Miifin Harcout
Expected publication: 201th March 2012

Synopsis:

Sixteen-year-old Lex Bartleby has sucker-punched her last classmate. Fed up with her punkish, wild behavior, her parents ship her off to upstate New York to live with her Uncle Mort for the summer, hoping that a few months of dirty farm work will whip her back into shape. But Uncle Mort’s true occupation is much dirtier than that of shoveling manure.

He’s a Grim Reaper. And he’s going to teach her the family business.

Lex quickly assimilates into the peculiar world of Croak, a town populated entirely by reapers who deliver souls from this life to the next. Along with her infuriating yet intriguing partner Driggs and a rockstar crew of fellow Grim apprentices, Lex is soon zapping her Targets like a natural born Killer.

Yet her innate ability morphs into an unchecked desire for justice—or is it vengeance?—whenever she’s forced to Kill a murder victim, craving to stop the attackers before they can strike again. So when people start to die—that is, people who aren’t supposed to be dying, people who have committed grievous crimes against the innocent—Lex’s curiosity is piqued. Her obsession grows as the bodies pile up, and a troubling question begins to swirl through her mind: if she succeeds in tracking down the murderer, will she stop the carnage—or will she ditch Croak and join in.

Review: Tempest Child by Laura Eno

Tempest Child by Laura Eno

Published: May 26th 2011

Summary:

As future Queen and Guardian of the Elements, Princess Skylather'cha'eab thought her worst nightmare was the impending find-a-husband party until events take an ominous turn. Now she must put her life at risk to save her Kingdom.

Armed with only a staff, a bow, and her wits, Skyla's world is turned upside-down when she enters the Crossroads and encounters the beast she's destined to kill. Does she have the courage to sort truth from lie, or will she die not knowing who betrayed her?

Review:

Again, i have lost myself in the world that Laura has made. Her description for everything is detailed, also easy to image it in your mind.

Skyla is a princes. She controls the elements; earth, fire water, wind and fire. When her father, the king, gets held as a hostage. She has

The first question that popped into my mind was 'what year is this story set in?' This is because first it talks about kingdoms and gowns and that sets the story in like fantasy world and then when she goes into town she changes into t-shirts and jeans. Which is pretty much confusing. Don't you think so? also, the names in this book was weird, well, of course it would be weird because it's in the time of knights in shining armors coming to the primeness's help. For example, the main character's name 'Skylather'cha'eab' is weird with the apostrophes, but i also think the names puts originality flair into the story.

Damn, Laura makes good characters! I don't know where she gets her ideas from but hey it's awesome. For example, Stick-Man. I was surprised at first but it fitted in with the story, pretty much.

The main character, Skyla, is not really confident but as the story going on you see that she gets more and more confident. Then she turns into ass-kicking type of girl from shy and non-confident type pf girl.

I would say Izzy is a confident character. The first time i heard his name i thought he was a girl and a sweet creature not a demon guardian. Even though, Izzy is a demon i still like him, it doesn't change my perspective on him.

The plot is filled withs twists and surprises. It's like a maze. The turn you take will lead to more problems and answers; you don't know what to except next. Never the less, it was short it was a quick and easy read.

Review: The Vampire Stalker by Alison Van Diepen

The Vampire Stalker by Alison Van Diepen
 Pages: 250
Publisher: Scholatic
 Published: June 1st 2011

Summary:

Ever been love with a boy in a book?

Amy is in love with Alexander Banks. In fact, she's obsessed with him. He's brooding and handsome . He hunts vampires.

He's perfect
.
The only problem is, Alexander doesn't exist. He's a character in a book.
But what if he showed up one day? What if he were somehow real?

Review:

The Vampire Stalker is a every girl who reads paranormal romances dream.

When i first read the synopsis for this book i was thrilled to read it. I mean come on! Doesn't it peak your interest? A boy that you love from a book actually exist! The story starts with Amy in a line for the next book of Otherworld, (the book hat Alexander exists in). Then on the way home Amy is attacked by Vigo (Vigo is the villain) and then Alexander saves her! Amy can't believe it!  When Alexander notices he's in a new Chicago that he has never seen he asks Amy for help and thats where it all wisps off on its own.

The first chapter i got hooked on easily. I couldn't stop reading it but then when Alexander came on the story for me became childish. However, when the story started to evolve i got hooked on again and couldn't stop reading it!

The relationship between Amy and Alexander was sad because you know that he has to go back to his Chicago; it's always there, at the back of you head telling you that he has to go back and that's the heartbreaking problem between Amy's and Alexander.

Alison, has made the characters in this book believable. From, Amy to the jock squad. When i'm reading the book i really believe that i am in Amy's shoes.
