Review:

Hey there! I haven't posted much in the past week but finally here is a review for New Girl. New Girl is a type of book that i really don't go for but i really started to enjoy it after a few chapters.

Callie's parents tell her that she got accepted to a boarding school that she has wanted to go to since she was little. Callie is enjoying her life with her friends. Everything is perfect. She doesn't want to go but she can't say no to her parents. When she arrives at Maderley Academy there's something is wrong. Callie has replaced Becca, the goddess in everyone eyes and she's missing.

I really liked this plot. It's always strange when you're the new girl. You're like oh my god what if someone bullies me? What if the teachers are like dragons? What if i trip over in front of everybody? This is how it feels and everyone knows it even if you're a boy or a girl but Callie had it all. She's in the spotlight. She's even falling for the guy, Max, Becca was with. She even looks like Becca. And everyone thinks she's copying Becca. Personally i don't like these types of books scandalous things, you know? But to my surprise i was hooked. What i really love was that it had different POVs, Callies and Beccas. I loved seeing it through their eyes. Even though everyone was against her and everything was going down hill in her life. I thought that Callie was really strong

There were many things i loved about New Girl. It was bitter but also sweet at the same time and after you finished reading it you could grasp everything about this story in your head. One thing that made me really hooked to New Girl was Becca's disappearance. I'm sure, every flip of the page i kept on thinking that Becca was going to pop out of nowhere but she didn't.

Dana, Becca's best friend, was very annoying. She was obsessed that Becca was going to come back even though she knew she wasn't and she knew what Becca was really like. Although, in the end i actually found that she was feeling guilty and i ended up liking her for a reason. Max, Becca's "boyfriend", was one of the characters i liked. Becca kept on making them look lovey-dovey with her and Max and it made me sick. She even kept on doing it after they broke up - even if the relationship wasn't really real, Max was forced. Now, on to to the most main character: Callie and Becca. Becca. Oh, Becca, Becca, Becca. (I think i sound weird, anyway...) Becca was an attention seeker, two faced and really, really horrible. From her past we learn that she wasn't always pretty. She did things that were horrible but still ended up as a stuck up brat. I hate her. I wouldn't like to know her. However, at the near ending i found that i was tiny it sorry for her. Callie was really strong. In spite of everything going downhill in her life she kept together in one piece.

The ending of this book still kept me hooked. The readers find out everything that has been kept locked. And the romance between Max and Clarie was really heart breaking and i really hated Becca for it. Max and Callie belonged to each other!

To make sure you read this amazing book i'm going to stalk you. Just kidding... Or not. No. Seriously i'm joking!

New Girl, bitter and sweet at the same time. Love, broken hearts, cheats, friendship. Relationships. A book to read for all people.

  2. I started this one and got kind of bored and never went back. I am really curious now about what happened to Becca. Claire sounds like a strong character but that she will have some heart break with Max and Dana sounds evil. Being the new girl would be hard but basically seeming like a replacement would probably make things really difficult. An interesting plot.

  3. I also tend to be a bit wary of these kinds of books, but from your review, this sounds pretty good. A blend of boarding school and mystery sounds quite intriguing.
