Pandora's Key has its ups and downs like every other books but significant because of the twisted Greek mythology is intriguing.

On her sixteenth birthday Evangeline is given the key necklace that has been passed down generations in her family-mother to daughter. But when Evangeline mother starts to get sick and  Evangeline is hallucinating she can't help but think that something is really wrong. Malledy is a Archivist with a disease (Huntington's disease) he wishes for a cure but there isn't hope. But there is a chance that Pandora's descendant will cure him-if he finds her.

Firstly, i would say that Pandora is a great book but it also had some negative points. One, the slow pace after the exciting start started to bore me, however, it did pick up so i did enjoy it. Secondly, what really annoyed me was Evangeline. Evangeline is a strong character but she didn't put much effort in actually believing on the Pandora. She only started to realise like nearly a quarter to the end and that really ticked me off.

On the other hand, i loved the Greek mythology twist in the story! For a start i love Greek mythology so it already had a positive point before i read it and then i found out that it was about the Pandora's Box (of course because of the title) it added another plus side to it. Then, another thing i loved about the Greek mythology twist was that Malledy was a Archivist. Archivists are people who gets mission to get things (and let me tell you they are not ordinary stuffs.) These are immortal things that we humans or any mortal can never lie their eyes on.

Therefore, i would give it a rating of 2.5. I would recommend this to readers who likes Greek mythology. I'm hoping to read The Key To Tartarus soon! The teaser was too much to handle!

Love the title, cover and the summary and i think the story is going to be great.

Thoughts after the read:
It wasn't what i was expecting, it wasn't a good read and not a great fan, but there are good points about it.

Review:

Perry has a normal life, a perfect life. He's a student with really good grades and is on the top lists for undergraduate student at Columbia University, but when a exchange students arrives into Perry's life it turns into war. Gobi is not a European chick she's like the girl who sits in your class in the corner, talking to anyone and always has her nose in books. Prom, one of the most important date in high school and when Perry is with Gobi it looks good for a chance to go and get a chance with a gig in front of real people that night. But when Gobi changes their plan Perry discovers that Gobi isn't who she really is. With the lights on for the stage Perry discovers the hidden things of New York in a night.

Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick is a fun read with good action in it.

What i really loved about the book was the witty jokes that Joe made in the story. Most of the part of the story i was laughing full on and i liked that. Another thing that i really liked about the book was Joe's writing. It's just so simple but at the same time it's like you can see everything that the characters see.

The only drawback for me was that for some reason it let me down because i was hoping it to be something better. And, truth be told i actually left Au Revoir Crazy European Chick alone for a day or two.

And that's all folks. If you haven't read this book then do read it because i still think it's amazing! I can't wait to read the next book, Ciao For Now, Crazy European Chick.

On a little note i wanted to say that i really love the titles. Only by reading the titles i would have already picked this book and ready to settle in with this book.

Review:


I'm reading this book for three reasons. One, I really like Matched. Two, I wanted to see Ky's piont of view and third, I wanted to see why people didn't like this book.

Before the book starts there's a note from Allie saying that most of this is in Ky's veiw and I got excited by how she was going to do it and the on the first chapter was Ky's perspective of veiw it was strange but I still thought Cassia's point of view is better.

The only thing that kept me reading this book was 1) I wanted to know what happens in this book and 2) I needed to know what happens to read the third book.

When I read Crossed it sounds as if I'm reading poetry and if you don't know I don't really like reading poetry; it's complicated and confusing. I like to read fiction! Crossed does have some parts of Matched. How Classia and Ky describe the Society, for example. Which I did like because I wanted to know wha the Society was going to do about Cassia and Ky.

I kept on skipping paragraphs and let me tell you I didn't do it it in excitement, I did it in boredom and I wanted to get to the good bits.

However, after reading the first few chapters I got used to Ally's style of writing and it also started to make sense, although, I still skipped paragraphs to finish this book-not in excitement. Xandra, Cassia's match, is still after her. Which confused me because I thought Classic was all for Ky and Ky for Classia. This girl, Indie, is frustrating I tell you! she hits on Ky and then she likes Xander and i'm like Hello? Weren't you Just hitting on Ky?!  

Things I liked In this book was the blue tablets. Someone told Ky that the blue tablets make you weak and then you die and I was like 'oh my god! Does Cassia know?!'. Then, on the next chapter which was Cassia's pov, she went to a museum and asked for information. You know throne where you say I want information and then they give you what they want-which, by the way, I want to do someday. But for some reason she gives away Ky's precious artifact and I was like 'Nooo! What are you doing girl?! Why didn't you give that stupid blue tablet that that stupid Xandra gave you!' However, I liked it that way, because at least we have some drama in this book.
